TLC Barrel Horse Training

TLC Barrel Horse Training started in 1992, with one goal in mind, to help a horse & rider become the best team they could be!  TLC Motto:  RIDE WITH HEART, means to give it every thing you have with try and heart in the arena, but to also put the horse and what is best for them, before the competition!

Tina Spangler owner & trainer of TLC has ridden horses for over 40 years and started competing in barrels and poles at the age of 8.  Tina has been professionally training horses since 1992.  Her success with many horses that she has owned, trained and competed on has given her unique knowledge.  Tina was born in Southern California, lived in Colorado 8 years where TLC started in 1992 and in 2001 she moved to Florida where she currently resides.

Some of the titles Tina has earned over the years are:

1994 Top 10 Novice Horse Program, 1995 District Champion NBHA 2D, 1995 Top 5 NBHA State Championships, 1997 NBHA Colorado year end champ 2D, 1997 C&L Winter Buckle Champion, 1998 NBHA Year End Champ & Top 5 1D Title, 1999 Top 5 Year End District Finalist 1D & 2D, 1995-2000 NBHA World Qualifier in 1D & 2D, 2003-2007 1D wins over 250 entries, 2007 Novice Horse 1D Reserve Champion Tour of Champions, 2009 Tour of Champions Top 3 2D Novice Horse and Top 3 Futurity 1D, Top 3 Derby, 2010 1D Derby Reserve Champion Tour of Champions, 2011-2016 NBHA World Qualifier.  Winning & placing at Open rodeos and jackpots in Florida too.  Over 500 horses trained and riders coached since 2001 in Florida.

Her horse training program is based on horsemanship, teaching the riders with the horses!  Her training techniques are kind, effective, and are customized to each individual teams needs.  Her training program is designed to treat each horse as an individual!

Monthly training, private and group lessons as well as all day clinics are available year round.
